Poll: Have you decided on a candidate?

With less than two months until the first state caucus, many already know definitively who they will vote for in the presidential election, where do you stand?

Media approves Ron Paul for prez

During the 2008 presidential election, candidate Ron Paul was dismissed as a radical "crazy uncle". The media (both liberal/conservative) painted Paul with a draconian brush, which was hard to erase given that they possessed sole representation of his political philosophy.

Obama's Competence +Poll

I, like many others, don't agree with the president on many political issues, but it is fair to note when he has done an extremely ballsy (for lack of a better word) move.

Poll: 2012 Candidates, and Political Affiliation

There is a wide breadth of candidates this year, attempting to gain the GOP nod.  But few have been labeled as a "front-runner".  Given the mixed results to polls show, I am interested in learning your utopian candidate for the general.

Will Ron Run?

The big question many libertarians are wondering: "Is Paul going running in 2012?". Well, his son sure does think so; the newly elected Kentucky senator told this to Politico..

Founding Fathers: Separate Church/State

The statement "..this country was founded in Christianity" is quite a fallacy. Contrary to what Glenn Beck or [insert social conservative here] might tell you, the fundamentals of our independence were rooted in a secular (and often anti-religion sentiment).

Obama: Safe in 2012?

As I watch Obama's popularity in the polls, I realize how fragile his presidency is. After the Tusan incident, the President's approval rating skyrocketed into the high 50s, but it dipped after his misshandling of Libya.

Poll: Where do you lean politically?

With the 2012 horizon looming, I was interested on everyone's current views in politics. Feel free to vote and speak freely on where you are at this time in comments...

The Libertarian Takeover

Liberals aren't the only big "L's" Republicans have to worry about; there's a new threat in town, Libertarians. Their message is clear - "we want back in!".

Delegitimizing Barack Obama

The lie that never dies is still out there - "Barack Obama isn't an American citizen." But where does this lie stem from? Is it because he is African American, or because his father was a Muslim? Or maybe it's because he carries the same name as a former tyrant we destroyed?  …

Obama's BIG 2012 Problem

As you probably know, the President's poll numbers are at an all time high (minus the inception of his presidency). If he were to run now, he would beat all of the other known Republican challengers.

Ron Paul: The 2012 Question

The water is still murky as to whether Rep. Ron Paul will run again for president, but the odds are in his favor. Since his 2008 campaign, he has gained momentous support amongst college students and true conservatives.

Conservatism - what it is, and what it's been warped into

Most mainstream 'conservatives' these days are really war-propagating, theocratical, neo-cons. The irony in the R beside their name is that they the very thing Republicans have historically advocated against.

Reagan: A legacy remembered, a presidency forgotten

Ronald Reagan will go down in history as one of the most influential and loved presidents of a generation, but people who use him as a prop will always see him as their conservative mold.

Remembering Tim Russert

Tim was a seeker of the truth. That is all he wanted on Meet the Press, to find out what his interviewee was really thinking. He was very good at corning his guests into situations that they would have to answer. I used to watch Mr.

Journey to the White House

The race between the democrats seems to be never ending. McCain has started to attack Obama on foreign policy issues, saying he is naive and inexperienced. Hillary Clinton won Kentucky by a huge margin. But in Oregon the polls were reversed in favor of Obama.
